The Grape Gourmet project has really taken off as the Cucina Dello Zio (the Uncle’s Kitchen) continues on it’s journey gathering more and more interest. We continue to broadcast our sessions LIVE on Facebook and Twitter, so stay tuned! We’re always adding new recipes and wine reviews so drop by and check us out at Cucina Dello Zio!

The long hard winter hasn’t helped motivate us much but the thought of spring is starting to take affect. We need some inspiration and new beginnings. We think it’s time to dust off the ol’cameras, mics and recording equipment and start acquiring again!

As our equipment been has been collecting a bit of dust during this past frigid winter, we think it’s time we start priming our engines, dusting off the ol’cobwebs and get back into motion. Grape Gourmet
At Grape Gourmet we’ve been fairly busy releasing new recipes, writing wine reviews* while taking a few Adventures. We had an Adventure in New York City, traveled to Vegas (which turned out refreshing but uneventful) and an over-night get-away to St. Jacobs, ON (article coming soon).
Live Cooking Broadcasts via Facebook and Twitter
While we’ve been cooking we’ve been using Facebook and Twitter to broadcast live images. The images are ultimately being used for our recipes and are linked directly from a Flickr account.
Zio’s Kitchen
We’re thinking of opening a group on Facebook called Zio’s Kitchen. Our idea is to start a small community dedicated to our passion for eating well and healthy. Back to the basics of good ingredients and simplicity while discovering cultural diversity and the wisdom of our ancestors. Our need to get back to homemade meals and eating less ‘take-out’ and restaurant food focusing on tasty and healthy foods.
Back Burner
While we’ve been relatively with the Grape Gourmet, some of our other projects have taken a back seat. As this may happen from time-to-time, we are making an attempt at return to these projects. One that has taken a serious back burner is the Live at Encore Rehearsal Studios: The Angela Saini Sessions project. Availability for a few pick-up shots, that are needed, have been hampering us. The weather has also taken a toll and killed many opportunities. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to better weather to get rolling again.

Quiet and Calm
The brain-child of Apexcruncer’s Nelson Peixoto, Live at Encore Rehearsal Studios: The Angela Saini Sessions is an intimate live acoustic-session. The performance featured a few previously released songs as well as unreleased songs. The event was used as a fund-raiser to help Angela finance her current independent EP which was being recorded in a local studio.
In January of 2013 Mo’zArt Productions was approached by Apexcruncher Productions to collaborate on the production of a live performance of singer/songwriter Angela Saini. Apexcruncher Productions secured Encore Rehearsal Studios as the venue, put together a crew ( the NöizRoom and independent videographer Michelle Reza on cameras along with audio engineer Todd Page capturing the aural nuances.
The audio is slowly drifting in from post for our co-production of Live at Encore Rehearsal Studios: The Angela Sessions. It has been decided individual songs will be released as they are available.
